This year, Film Spring Open France is focusing on an EU-funded project called Innovative AI Training for the Audiovisual Sector.

This programme is designed for participants who want to develop their skills in emerging technologies, collaborative work and eco-responsible audiovisual production practices. It includes:

  1. Two online theory courses — one for 20 French and one for 20 Polish participants, over 2 × 8 days at 6 hours a day. A dedicated consultation service supports participants individually according to their needs, projects and experience level.
  2. Two hands-on workshops for 15 participants, in Cabestany and Olsztyn. Aboard the eco-friendly Cinébus, participants carry out real-world audiovisual projects using up-to-date professional tools and software.

The 9th Ecological Film Residency run by FRAME will be dedicated to this project and will take place from 14 to 23 August 2026 at the Espace Jeunesse in Cabestany.

For the October 2026 training in Kraków, all the information is on the Film Spring Open Workshop page. And if you’re comfortable in French, check out Film Spring Open online for more online training!
