Welcome to Film Spring Open
An interactive project that lets audiences meet the people of the Film Spring Open world and discover their work, in the form of short video capsules: interviews, mini-reports, tutorials or fiction.
Launched in 2022, the project grows every year with new capsules, freely accessible to all. For the 2026 edition, the focus is on the compatibility between artificial intelligence and ecology: how to design, measure and deploy AI workflows that use as little energy as possible, combining the French FRAME’s expertise in eco-conception with the technical know-how of the Kraków Film Spring Open Workshop.
The programme is built around a « Green AI » working group, a post-production lab on board the solar-powered Cinébus, and experiments with filming accessories 3D-printed from recycled materials and biodegradable PLA filament. The resulting productions and best-practice guides are then folded into our partners’ training programmes in France and Poland.
